JCS
Seafood Namibia came in to being after the 3 previously disadvantaged
shareholders realized the entrepreneurial opportunity in the
harvesting, processing and marketing of seafood products. JCS Seafood
Namibia was established in June 2005 and we started only as a
marketing company exporting seafood products to Europe - mainly to
Netherlands and Spain. After we experienced a decline in volumes
during July 2006 because of reduced volumes and small size of hake
landed by its two main suppliers, the shareholders consequently
decided to diversify JCS operations in order to reduce dependency on suppliers and started to operate our own vessel called
MFV JCS I. It is a state of the art wet fish trawler with 2200 horse power and is capable of landing 3000 metric tons of wet hake on an annual basis

We specialize in sourcing seafood products according to the specification and requirements of our prestige and valued clients.
We don't limit our product range to what we currently supply, but are willing to explore opportunities on behalf of our clients.
